About
Welcome to my weekly (sometimes fortnightly) newsletter on housing politics and policy, with a focus on Ireland (although plenty of international stuff too!). It’s mainly for people who work directly in housing research, policy or practice, as well as activists and students. It aims to provide empirical and fact based analysis, without being values free. I am a lecturer at the School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice at University College Dublin, focusing on the political economy of housing.
Why subscribe?
Subscribers receive a free weekly one-page analysis of new research and policy. I try to cover any new major policy or research developments in Ireland, as well as well as insights and evidence from the international academic debate. The newsletter is a one-stop-shop to help you stay up to date, and provides impartial, academic analysis of new developments to help make sense of them. It should only take a few minutes to read and it will mean you are always informed. Each newsletter also includes an events section to find out about housing conferences and seminars, and suggestions for what to read.
All content is free, but I ask all readers to consider taking out a paid subscription to support my work. If I receive support from paid subscribers, it allows me to dedicate more time to this project, and in the future include new elements such as podcasts, video content and special webinars.
