This is just a short housing keeping post. Sincere thanks to everyone who has signed up as a paid subscriber, it’s very encouraging. And welcome to all of those who subscribed over the last five or six weeks. Over the coming week’s I’ll have some more posts on the future direction of Irish housing policy, in the wake of the election, and will also cover the Programme for Government when that’s out. In the meantime, I have created new pages on the Newsletter home page. This Collections page lists some of my posts from the last few years organised by topic (e.g. Cost Rental, Affordability, Tenant Politics etc.). I’ve published almost 200 issues of the Newsletter at this stage, so hopefully this ‘back catalogue’ will be useful to some of you. This My Research page lists my academic publications by topic (e.g. PRS, Cost Rental, Social Housing etc.).
Finally, if you would be interested in writing a guest post for the Week in Housing in 2025 please get in touch. Details on guest posts can be found here. I’m interested in hearing from anyone who works in housing, but at the moment I’m especially keen to hear from those working in the private sector.
All the best,
Mick
